U gotta give a little ….

If you are in Slovenia, in-or-around IT, and would like somebody to proof your English texts, I will do it for free.
Within reason.
I’ve done enough proofing in my day for IT-related texts. Business plans, presentations, CVs — basically everything within the tech-spectrum has passed under my fingers in recent years.
The motivation is simple: I could volunteer my free time under CLA/NDA agreements with various (well, one: Zend) firms, contribute “something” to some other FOSS group (for which I’d probably be relatively/initially under-qualified), or I could give something back to the “local” community. I have some free time, why not give a little?
Within reason?
- Originals in English. This is for proofing only.
- No opus material. Yes, you’ve invented the next revolution in semantic AI social media — but — for the love of all things holy, keep it brief.
- No PR.
- If I can’t do it (because of time or whatever), I know — and can refer you to — others that charge a pittance. In retrospect (because I hate the idea of backspace), they might not be so happy about this service. But, WYGD?
- Confidentiality is a given.
- A few hours a week is the some in the some free time point above.
- I ask for nothing in return.
There it is. me@dennisgurnick.com out.
Note: It’s hard to write such things without appearing arrogant/altruistic/etc. I probably should proof this.
